The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation will be asking our community to Join the J
and support leading practice healthcare by becoming a monthly donor through a door to door fundraising campaign starting on Tuesday, September 19.
Canvassers will go door to door on behalf of the Foundation inviting residents to join the Dedicated Donors Club
with a monthly donation in support of our community hospital. This campaign will continue to raise awareness and funds in support of the redevelopment and expansion project currently underway at Joseph Brant Hospital.
“Making a monthly donation is a simple but powerful way of supporting the critical needs of our hospital,” said Anissa Hilborn, President of the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation. “This ongoing support is vital to providing the equipment and tools our caregivers need to care for our patients."
Canvassers will be in Burlington and surrounding communities Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays, throughout the fall, asking residents to consider signing up for a monthly donation in support of the hospital.
Canvassers from Public Outreach will process the initial donation at the door, and all donors will receive a welcome email and charitable tax receipt information from the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation. Donations can be made through credit card or direct debit, but no cash donations will be accepted. All financial data is confidential, and canvassers are compliant with Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations for financial data security and meet industry regulations related to Face-to-Face fundraising.
Each canvasser will be wearing a vest and have photo I.D. which confirms they are working on behalf of the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation.
